Caroline Berryman, CMMP – Editor-in-Chief

Caroline Berryman is a graduate of the University of Western Ontario and holds an Honours BA in Sociology. She has a Master’s Certificate in Marketing Communications Leadership from York University’s Schulich School of Business and holds Certified Marketing Management Professional (CMMP) designation from the International Institute of Marketing Professionals. Caroline is an active member of the Canadian Association of Marketing Professionals and is a keynote speaker for many organizations.

After working for over thirteen years in a retail marketing environment, with ICG KeepRite Inc, St. Hubert restaurants and The Cadillac Fairview Corporation in their Shopping Centres portfolio, Caroline entered the public sector in 2006 to work for York Region in their transit branch.

Today Caroline is working in Transportation Services with the Regional Municipality of York, planning, developing and coordinating award winning communication and marketing strategies and programs that align with strategic goals, leading the development and implementation of a marketing and communications strategy for traveller safety with York Regional Police, which was the recipient of the Ministry of Transportation’s Road Safety Initiative of the Year award in 2016.

Caroline is passionate about marketing and creating strategies to increase awareness and affect behavioural change. With 25 years’ experience leading strategic development, management and implementation of effective integrated marketing and communications, Caroline has developed and led campaigns that are aligned with organizational business goals in both private and public sectors. As a big picture thinker she is a highly skilled listener and communicator, able to assess business needs, develop key messages and convey information with clarity, while building and maintaining relationships leading to highly successful outcomes.

Stephanie McCredie – Contributing Author
Digital Communications and Marketing Consultant.

Stephanie’s background in digital communications and marketing began in 2000 as a digital marketing consultant. For more than twelve of these years she has primarily worked in the education sector in Australia.

She is extremely passionate about digital transformation and the opportunity it brings for business process improvements and increased efficiencies, not only in digital communications and marketing but within every operational area of an organisation.

Stephanie enjoys being part of the IIMP team as a contributing author.

Wendy Greenwood — Contributing Author
Marketing Executive

Wendy Greenwood is a marketing executive experienced in boosting B2B and B2C brands from both a client-side and agency perspective. Known for her ability to use data and analytics to spot emerging trends, Wendy seeks to understand the wider business needs and then builds programs and leverages the right tools to support. Wendy has partnered with premier retailers for first-to-market launches, including Saks Fifth Avenue and Nordstrom.

Kimberley Henderson — Contributing Author

As an enthusiastic and passionate communicator, Kimberley is a strategic communications professional with 20 years of experience in the private and public sector. Currently, she partners with clients to develop and implement communication strategies in the areas of emergency management, continuous improvement and corporate strategic planning.

Kimberley is an active IABC/Toronto member, having served as a director and vice president over multiple years, and now as a board advisor. She currently leads program communications in the Office of the CAO at The Regional Municipality of York.

As a lifelong learner, Kimberley recently earned her Masters Certificate in Public Sector Leadership from the Schulich Business School and Project Management Certificate from the University of Toronto. She graduated from York University with an Honours BA in Mass Communications and Sociology.

Jordan Do Rego – Graphic Designer

Digital Marketing Consultant, City of Mississauga

After graduating from the Business Marketing program at Humber College, Jordan received a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Guelph. Jordan became a member of the IIMP team in 2015 as graphic designer for the IIMP newsletter. He is currently working as a digital marketing consultant for the City of Mississauga Economic Development Office assisting in the retention, expansion and attraction of businesses in Mississauga.

Maryam El Oraiby – French Editor
M.Sc in Information Technology
Information Manager and Market Researcher

After graduation from the School of Information sciences in Rabat – Morocco, Maryam got a Master’s degree in Information Technologies from Kadir Has University in Istanbul – Turkey. She became a member of the IIMP team in 2015 as French editor and translator of the IIMP newsletter. She is currently working as a market researcher for GlobRes, the leading provider of technology solutions for electronic distribution channels.
